With Jack is all about insurance for freelance creatives. I worked with the With Jack’s founder Ashley Baxter and lead designer Scott Riley on an overall rebrand, giving the amazing service that Jack offers some more personality and life.
Jack already had some branding from a few years back, I took the existing idea of a sailor character and gave him a face and some friends to give the name With Jack some real personality.
Logo/character exploration
After sharing some ideas with Ash and Scott we decided to go with this friendly chap to represent Jack. I also worked on a nice friendly colour palette to work from.
With Jack brand development
This project had a really fun process, we wanted the illustrations to differ slightly from the logo, to bring a little more texture and grit. I had chance to play with a lot of brushes for colouring and shading.
